Coir Board is a statutory body established by the Government of India under a legislation enacted by the Parliament namely Coir Industry Act 1953 (45 of 1953) for the promotion and development of Coir Industry in India as a whole.
COIR Board invites applications from the eligible candidates for the Recruitment of following posts
Posts :
1. Assistant Director (Training) : 1post (Unreserved)
Pay Band : Rs.9300-34800 + 4600 (Grade Pay)
Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on 16.08.2010
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: Graduate in Science with Diploma in advanced
Coir Technology and three years practical experience*
2. Showroom Manager : 2 Post(Unreserved)
Pay Band : Rs.9300-34800 + 4200
Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on 16.08.2010
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with 2 years experience in Marketing of consumer products.
3. Salesman : 13 Posts (UR-10, OBC-2,ST -1)
Pay Band Rs.5200-20200 + 1900 (Grade Pay)
Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on 16.08.2010
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: SSLC or equivalent having knowledge of Book
Keeping and Accountancy. 30 w.p.m.in typewriting essential.
4. Hamal Cum Stitcher : 6 Posts (UR- 5, OBC-1)
Pay Band Rs.5200-20200 + 1800 (Grade Pay)
Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on 16.08.2010.
Qualifications: Essential: Educational: A pass in middle school standard and two years
experience in stitching and work connected with the sale of coir and coir goods.
How to apply : Complete applications in the prescribed format with copies of testimonials duly attested by a Gazetted Officer in proof of age, qualifications, experience etc. should reach the Secretary, Coir Board, Coir House, PB.No.1752, M.G.Road, Ernakulam, Kochi-16 on or before the prescribed closing date i.e., 16.08.2010 (For those candidates from Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Prradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti district and Pangi Sub-division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, A&N Island and Lakshadweep, the closing date will be 23.08.2010)
