After 27 years, director S Nagabharana has teamed with Vishnu for the film NamYajamanru (Nam Yejamanru). Earlier the duo had worked together for the movie Bangarada Jinke. The diretor has chosen a psychological problem for the theme of the movie. Unlike Aptamitra, the movie has got originality in content as well as way of narrating the story. The award winning director has come out the movie with serious concept when Kannada film industry suffers from either remakes or the movies that glorify rowdyism. The movie is clearly a family entertainer.

Rocky (Rakesh) is the standing example and an eye opening character in this film. He has fallen in love and his ambition in life is to get someone say ‘I Love You’. This is shocking to the parents and everyone in the school. When Rakesh and his friends come to college it is Rakesh who delve in to ‘Ishq’ giving up his studies. He loves Meena his co student immensely. Rocky’s other friends Amit, Alok, Jagan, Akshay are also naughty but not to the extent of falling in love. Rocky pays penalty when he further deepen his aspiration. Meena parents explain her position in a convincing manner. But Rocky is not ready to accept what his parents say....

Shambulinga AKA Junglee (Vijay) wants to become a proclaimed negative character in the movie industry.He begins his journey with the assistance of Gudde Narasimha to make it big in the movies, but his fate had some other plan.When Vijay is made to confront the underworld don Swamy where he gets job to drive car his son.The enemies on the look for Swamy's son ends up attacking Junglee but he saves the boy with his ability. Junglee thus becomes a son like to Don Swamy and then he never had to look back in life. Vijay heads to the underworld gangm and attacks becomes a part of his life.He even forgets his dream of acting in the movies.On a virtual romantic angle to the film, our hero Junglee is clean bowled by the hot sexy Padma (Andrita Ray),who asks him to lay down his arms if he wants her in his life,and in a turn of affairs Junglee virtually turns to become a good boy and guess what happens....
