Thaman, the young music director who shot into limelight with Ravi Teja’s Kick, has a style of his own. This year he composed for big films such as Brindavanam, Ragada and Mirapakay. Currently, he is scoring music for Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu. Thaman says, “2010 has been a good year for me. NTR’s Brindavanam got me a good name. I feel very privileged to have been a part of its success. Ragada and Mirapakay songs were a big hit too.”
Thaman’s future projects include Ravi Teja’s Veera and Prabhas’ Rebel. A few other films are in the discussion stage. “I worked under Mani Sharma for eight years. I learned a lot from him. When I compose music, the most important thing I keep in mind is the image of the hero. Every hero has a distinct style and I compose accordingly. If we succeed in pleasing the fans, half the job is done,” Thaman adds.
