Vanitha Vijayakumar Fight for Her Son Akash – , Case Status

The M adras High Court on Tuesday granted two more weeks to Akash, former husband of Vanitha Vijayakumar, for handing over their nine-year-old son Vijay Srihari to her custody.
A division bench comprising Justice Elipe Dharma Rao and Justice D Hariparanthaman passed an interim order extending the validity of the court’s earlier order by two weeks on Tuesday.
Akash sought custody of the boy, saying that staying with him would be in the child’s best interest. Akash also referred to the tiff that Vanitha had with her father Vijayakumar at the Chennai airport over the boy’s custody, and said such incidents would harm the boy.

When the matter came up before the Bench, Vanitha denied the allegations. Justice Elipe Dharma Rao orally asked her as to what happened at the airport and who had brought the media. When the matter was sub judice she had behaved in such a manner.
