Shakar Looks out for Second Heroine for 3 Rascals

Reports have emerged that the Tamil and the Telugu remake of the ’3-Idiots’ movie would have a second heroine!Other than Ileana, reports suggest that the story is being altered to create a space for a second heroine.Apparently Shankar was of the view that in case the movie is remade with exactly the same story, then it would not go well with the Tamil people since many people here already saw the movie.

This second heroine’s role is said to be kept under wraps as of now and the full details of the roles would be revealed in December only. But it is not clear if this second heroine plays the love interest of Vijay or Srikanth or Jeeva.
The movie, who would be titled as ’3-Rascals’ in Telugu would have a completely Tamil name in Tamil version. This is because of a rule that the state has. Titles with purely Tamil names gets tax breaks.

Srikanth Confirmed for 3 Idiots

 

Reports have emerged that hero Srikanth (also known as Sriram) has been paid 25 lakhs for his role in the Tamil and the Telugu versions of the 3-Idiots movie.This is surprising since Srikanth gets around 30 lakhs per each film that he does and since he is doing roles in both the versions, he should have got around 60 lakhs.

Whatever it is, the Gemini film circuit seems to have got him very cheap.The movie would start its regular shooting in December and most of the scenes would be shot in Dehradun

Final Crew for 3 Rascals is now Announced

 

Director Shankar confirmed the title of 3 Rascals to remake of Bollywood hit 3 Idiots. Mahesh Babu will play the role played by Aamir Khan. In Tamil version Vijay will play Aamir’s role.

Sriram will play Sharman Joshi role in Telugu and Tamil versions. Jeeva will play Madhavan’s role. Ileana is heroine of both Tamil and Telugu versions. Satyaraj will play professor’s role.
