Vidya Balan to Star in Subramaniyapuram Hindi Remake


Anurag Kashyap is all set to remake the smash hit Tamil movie ‘Subramaniapuram’ which was the debut movie for director Sasikumar. Sasikumar invited directors from Bollywood, Tollywood and Mollywood for the audio launch of his next flick ‘Easan’. Anurag Kashyap was present at the audio launch function and showered appreciations on director Bala and Sasikumar for their offbeat films.

While addressing the press Anurag Kashyap said that “I had admired ‘Subramaniapuram’ a lot and if Sasi decides to direct a film in Hindi, I’d like to write the script for him”. Moreover he disclosed his willingness to remake Sasikumars ‘Subramaniapuram’ in Hindi. Now Anurag Kashyap has made the official confirmation for the same.
Sasikumar on the other hand is happy that his movie’s remake has been landed in safe hands. Anurag Kashyap has movies like Black Friday, No Smoking, Dev D and Gulaal to his credit. Moreover he is a well known script writer and has penned scripts for Mani Ratnam’s Yuva, RGV’s ‘Sathya’, Shankar’s Nayak. And what will be the casting and the technical crew? As of now Anurag Kashyap has decided to go with Vidya Balan for the female lead played by Swathi.

Sr Naresh, who acted i n many comedy movies, is going to marry AP agricultural Minister Raghuveera Reddy Brother’s Daughter on 3rd December it seems. Sources say that marriage will be held in Hindupur of Anantapur(Dt) where he had contended for MP seat in 2009 elections on behalf of the BJP. Naresh has bought a palatial house in the Hindupur, he is planning to move into the new house with his new wife.
